If I hadn't purchased the Meet the Town publications, it would be impossible to write and publish full time for me. It's nice to have that balance. I just reprinted the popular "Mostly Spruce and Hemlock" by Louis J. Simmons, the history of Tupper Lake that was originally published in 1976. It was a joint effort between my company and the Tupper Lake library. Sales are helping pay the bills this month. It is less than two weeks after the release date and I've sold more than 1,200 copies so far out of the 2,000 print run. For a small-time publishing company, that ain't bad. Hope to have more projects like this.
Thanksgiving was fine with the inlaws at Lake Clear. Hope you had a good holiday, keeping busy and all. Thanks for the invite for this site. Looks like a lot of fun. If you ever get a chance, check out my blog, Adirondack Writer, @ http://www.adkwriter.blogspot.com. Just trying to make a living as a writer/publisher. I love the freedom but could use more money for bills.
Hi Peter...I will never make it into the market. I am banned everywhere. I write the truth, but no onme wants to hear it. The truth hurts too much to be appreciated.

Sandy didn't cause much of a problem up here in the Adirondacks. About an inch of rain and some wind but no flooding and never lost power.
Just posted a book review and a couple of photos. Me almost nude.
Most of the leaves are now down. Had some snow yesterday. Hard freeze last night. Went down to 20 F.
Just uploaded a audio sample of the first pages of The Dancing Valkyrie posted on YouTube.

I could very well be a hippie myself and had a wild time and I presume I am ashamed of it and don't want anyone else to make my same mistakes.
I'm planning on making the trip to Glenns Falls. See you there. Thanks.
Regards,
George
