Tom Gauthier writes from a unique perspective on human motivation. Three decades of teaching and consulting on behavior and motivation, covering four continents in his travels, have shaped his perspectives of both a sense of place and the human condition that drive the core of his stories. His novels have won awards for literary fiction and his plays have been produced in local theater. Tom also works with new writers, coaching and encouraging their early efforts.

Jo, it's a bit like "improv" theater ( I write, drama coach and direct). The sad fact is that we drive creativity out of our kids by about age seven. It's not intended, but the regimentation required to keep a room full of eager kids in some semblance of "controllability" sends them the message that "free-wheeling" thought might be career altering. I believe we need to program in some organized mental mayhem for our kids!
