Profile Information

Tell Us a Little About Yourself
Author, Reader/Buyer
Brief Biography (Authors Required - Others, optional)
I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia thus qualifying me as an original Georgia Peach and one of the few Natives left in the area. I attended West Georgia College in the mid-sixties with a major in English.

My husband Gerald and I were married for 39 years and created two beautiful children, a daughter who was murdered in 1996 at the age of 27, and a very intelligent and witty son who my husband viewed as his hero. I am very grateful for my grandson that our daughter blessed us with so that we will always have a living memory of her.

Now at age 62 and a widow, the passing years and many "life events" have given me what I consider a "Doctorate In Life", flavored with colorful and painful vistas of personal tragedy. It is from this that many of my writings are born and come to life.

I also give a 'shock and awe' type of presentation to at risk children. Using my daughter's drug use story and murder with various themes, such as "Many Hats" and "A Talk With My Daughter" (using a casket to represent her presence), these presentations seem to touch children who who are often unreachable through more traditional methods.

In Progress: LURE

Based on a true story, Lure follows the devastating events that occur to an ordinary family when justice goes wrong, and a multilayered legal conspiracy tears the family apart and changes their lives forever. The arrest of their oldest son for murder and the death of their daughter two months after their son’s arrest is just the beginning of over fourteen years of pain and suffering the family endures.

Understood, Jerry. I "hermitize" rather well, myself. If you'd ever like to communicate with me directly, either bill@billcady.com or my writer's address, leviticus@billcady.com will reach me. As I said, you're a very pretty girl. There aren't enough of that item any longer. Are you as pretty "inside" as you are outside?

Well, golly gee! It seems I owe you yet another thank you ... or 10Q, as I say it on the 'net. Just finishing up a chapter in my latest novel before I hit the rack, but I so seldom draw any attention from a girl as pretty as your pic says you are. It's way too danged bad you live so far away.

Thanx, Jerry. I can use all the friends I can attain. ;-)
