Janet Goliger is a physical education teacher, 2nd degree black belt and the creator and owner of the C.L.A.S.S. Self-Defense Program. She brings knowledge, enthusiasm, passion and a good sense of humor to every class she teaches, student assemblies, teacher trainings and parent presentations, and in her book, “I need to be SAFE: I'm worth it!". Janet found it necessary to combine her teaching and martial arts skills to create a unique self-defense program for her students to educate them with specific survival skills to be able to protect themselves in any threatening situation. Janet created the C.L.A.S.S. Self-Defense program that teaches kids simple yet very effective verbal and physical self-defense techniques that will empower any child and give them the self-confidence to fight back. Her program became very popular through community workshops that she decided to write her book not only for kids, but also for parents to work with their children at home and within a non-threatening environment. Janet also teaches women's self-defense known as Onna Musha.
